Ella's heart almost jumped out of her chest as she read the line "I'll def dump Ella for Charlotte". She felt "Oh,no! Not again!" but what could she do? Ray has chosen Charlotte over her. As usual,Raymond came with his gimmicks to talk Ella into not leaving him by cooking unimaginable lies you can't but believe. "Sorry,not this time!" Ella told him bluntly. At this point,he felt he had lost it with her. Their communication deriorated as Ella felt close to nothing for him anymore. He would go days without talking to her which worsened into weeks. He would go 2weeks without saying a word then come back to give flimsy excuses.
Their communication break continued for two months,by this time,she met this handsome,Channing Tatum, 6ft. tall,chocolatey guy. They became good friends and became so fond of each other,their friendship waxed stronger as they couldn't spare 3hours without ringing themselves on phone. Raymond on the other end came begging,he already understood that there was a huge difference between "concussion and jollof rice". Mr perfect(Ella's newly found friend) started giving getting married to Ella a thought. Raymond realised he had chosen wrongly cos he found out Charlotte had moved over him to a "bigger boy". Raymond is everything she wants in her man except for the fact that he lied to her and toyed with her heart. He's back on track and ready to stay faithful with Ella.
Raymond visited Ella one evening but she won't let him in. He pleaded with her but refused and he left. Mr perfect is nursing his intention of marrying Ella and still doesn't want to be too forward but Raymond keeps coming back on his knees and assuring her of his love and is ready to take her to the altar. It was at this point she realised a part of her still loves Ray.
It was a Saturday afternoon around 1:00pm,Ella's phone rang. "Hello,Josh!" "Yeah,how are you? What are you up to later today?" Josh(her newly found Mr perfect) asked. "I'll be home" Ella replied. "Can we have a nice time at the beach by four,please?" He asked. Ella chuckled and gave it a thought for about 10seconds and gave him an answer "Yes!". "Oh! Thank you. I'll be at your place by 3:30" he told her. The call ended then she heard a ring at the door;she rushed to the door and met Raymond. "Hi" he greeted "Hi" she replied. "Yes,what can I do you for?" She asked with a harsh tone. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you but please can we meet at Dauber's restaurant by 4:00?" He asked politely. "No,I have a date for 4:00 also" she replied immediately. "Ok,7:00?" He insisted politely with a smile on one end of his cheek. "K, 7:00" she replied. "Thanks,see you by 7:00" he said as he left the door and walked away. She stood there for about 30seconds thinking about him before she slammed the door behind her and leaned against the door. "No! No! No! Not with this monster she said to herself. No more feelings for him. I gotta get set for my date" she said to herself.
It was 3:30 already and Josh rang her door bell. "Who's it? I'll be there soon" Ella announced. She opened her door and met a flower and a card inscripted on it was "I LOVE YOU" at the door step. "Its Ray again" she said to herself as she picked it up and hissed then threw it on the sofa. At 3:35,Josh came in and they both headed to the beach at about 3:50. At the beach,they talked,laughed,ate and took pictures together. As they walked towards the sea,Josh spotted a bottle tucked into the sand and pointed at it. He told Ella to go pick it up. She picked it and inscripted on it was "Check the paper inside the bottle". She looked at Josh's face and looked worried as Josh nodded,indicating she should check the paper out. She turned the bottle upside down and the paper fell out. She opened it to read and what did she see? "Ella,its been few months with you but seems like ages. I've loved you from the very first day and have chosen you among all to spend the rest of my life with you. Please,will you marry me?" She read this note with tears and smiles on her face. After reading the note she looked down and met Josh on his knees.
